Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

We collect only the items needed for the kind of enquiry you send. The additional note is optional:

• your name
• a KakaoTalk ID or email address where we can reach you
• for BIPA enquiries, your reason for going, the help you need, campus preference, expected length, start timeframe and optional note
• for stay-option enquiries, any optional note about your purpose or expected length of stay

2. How we use it

• to confirm and answer your enquiry
• to suggest a campus and order of preparation that fits your plans
• to review stay options where you do not plan to join BIPA
• to prevent duplicate, automated or abusive submissions

3. How long we keep it

We keep consultation information for six months after the consultation ends, then delete it. If you later enter into a paid contract, we will explain the information and retention period needed for that contract before collecting it.

Where the law requires us to retain particular records, we separate those records and delete them when the legal period ends.

4. Sharing with other organisations

Doro does not sell consultation information. We do not provide it to another organisation unless you have agreed or the law requires us to do so.

If an application or stay procedure requires us to send information to a university, public authority or local provider, we will first identify the recipient, purpose, information and retention period and ask for separate consent.

5. Service providers and international processing

We use the following providers to run the site and deliver internal consultation alerts. Your information may be processed outside Korea as part of this work.

• Vercel Inc. (privacy@vercel.com) hosts the website and processes consultation API requests. When you visit or submit the form, consultation and access information may be sent over an encrypted connection to Vercel processing locations, including the United States. Doro does not separately store the consultation body on Vercel.
• Zoho Corporation (dpo@zohocorp.com) provides ZeptoMail and Zoho Mail for internal consultation alerts and storage. Enquiry information is sent over an encrypted connection to its United States data centre. ZeptoMail keeps delivery records for 60 days by default. Doro deletes the consultation email six months after the consultation ends.

6. Deletion

We delete information without undue delay when the retention period ends or it is no longer needed. We delete electronic files in a way designed to prevent recovery. Records that must be retained by law are kept separately.

7. Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or withdraw consent. Email us at the address below. We will verify the request and explain the outcome. Deletion may be limited where the law requires retention.

8. Security

We encrypt data in transit and keep the ZeptoMail token in server environment variables. Consultation email is limited to people handling enquiries.

9. Maps and outside content

We use Google Maps and outside map tiles to show the areas around each campus. When you open a map, the provider may process access information such as your IP address and browser details under its own privacy policy.
